While movie chains and other sites also offer advanced tickets, Fandango is the most popular, giving a good indication of where sales are heading for the film, which hits theaters on February 16.

As Deadlinenotes, Captain America: Civil Warracked up $179 million on its opening weekend in May 2016. Advanced ticket sales don't necessarily mean Black Pantherwill hit that number -- the box office in February is typically below May's -- but between the buzz and its release over the extended Presidents Day weekend, Pantherfigures to debut to some damn good numbers.

Besides the general badassness of the film's trailers, there's also the news that Kendrick Lamar is producing the corresponding Black Panther: The Album, which includes his new collaboration with SZA, making this one of the more highly anticipated MCU releases in a while.
